The Wonder of God, the Wonder of You
To walk daily with a sense of awe, marvel and wonder is a gift that we are given as children, and is a remarkable key to experiencing the splendor of God. As we grow older that sense begins to wane. We get bogged down with the mundane, the rote, the responsibilities. How can we sustain or renew the sparkling wonder we once had as children, while juggling our duties as wives, co-workers, and moms? In this session you will:
Learn to re-experience childhood wonder bringing you greater joy in your journey. Be rejuvenated and refreshed.
Feel a calm assurance that since God is able to hold the universe together, He can sustain you as well.

Out of Control and Loving It
As women, we long for safety and security. We need to know that we are special and are going to be taken care of. However, we gain a false sense of security when we try to control people and situations around us. Lori explains the difference between fleeting false security and true peace. Placing trust and ultimate control in to the hands of God brings genuine and lasting security. You will walk away from this session feeling as if you spent the weekend watching the waves roll in, as you learn to let the cares of this world roll away.

Confessions of a Blab-aholic
Have you ever asked yourself, “Why did I say that?” Have you ever been hurt by careless words popping out of the mouth of someone you loved? This message explores why we do and say, as Paul says, the things we don’t want to do and say. This session uses biblical truth’s to help you understand how being stressed, hungry, or tired trigger careless words. It also compares men being tempted with their eyes to women being tempted with their mouths. You will come away inspired as you learn to make your words your greatest gift.

Scare Your Fear Away:
Learning to Live Loved in a Not So Loving World
Do you often feel insecure? Does your mind race with scary thoughts about what is happening in the world today? Do you feel something just isn’t quite right in your life? Fear is a sneaky beast that lies, paralyzes and distorts the truth. Through biblical truths Lori shares practical insights that help you scare fear away and live totally abandoned to God’s love.

Broken and Beautiful
Have you ever been so emotionally, spiritually or physically hurt you didn’t think you could go on? Have you ever wondered who you would have become had you never been wounded? Throughout the Bible we read stories of pain and anguish, yet in the end God redeems. In this session Lori shares from her personal testimony how God is waiting to transform us from wounded to flourishing and how He took her from a “wild, wounded child” to becoming His special “peace-filled child.”

Lori Heinsohn is a nationally known speaker and writer who is best known for her Family Bureau of Investigation Workshops. She has privately mentored and coached numerous parents with children of all ages. She was the Founder and Director of an International Children's Performing Art's Team from 1989-1996. She has served in women's ministries for more than 20 years. She has been married for over 25 years to Randy; they have two grown children, and six grandchildren. She has also parented eight exchange students, has been published in Psalmist and featured in Virtue magazines.

"I know the pain of having a father who thinks drinking a six pack of beer is more important than spending time with me," Lori shares in her seminars. "I also know the anguish of a child walking away."
After watching several of her friends' children walk away from their family values and beliefs--several ending up in jail--she realized she wanted to get to the bottom of what was happening to families in America.

For over three years she interviewed hundreds of people across America of every race and class who have walked away from their parents physically, spiritually or emotionally. From this she identified the top six "crimes" we are committing in our families. When people found out what she was doing, they asked what she uncovered, thus the Family Bureau of Investigation Workshops were born.

Lori also speaks at women's retreats and conferences, church services, banquets and lunches.
